In this regard, it’s recommended to use the Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator in combination with the Stochastic indicator which will provide us with overbought and oversold conditions and more appropriate entry signals. Without further ado, here are the configurations of our indicator and the trading rules:

• The Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator uses the default setting;
• The Stochastic oscillator uses the default settings;
• The preferred time frame using this strategy is the 1H chart
• Buy Signal: only when the Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator is blue and shows an uptrend; and as a second confirmation, we need the Stochastic oscillator to be in oversold conditions below 20. The buy signal is triggered once the faster Stochastic MA crosses above the slower Stochastic MA. We use a static SL of 40 pips and exit the trade once the Stochastic MA crosses again in the opposite direction
• Sell Signal: only when the Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator is yellow and shows a downtrend; and as a second confirmation, we need the Stochastic oscillator to be in overbought conditions above 80. The sell signal is triggered once the faster Stochastic MA crosses below the slower Stochastic MA. We use a static SL of 40 pips and exit the trade once the Stochastic MA crosses again in the opposite direction

The 1H EUR/USD trading chart above is an example of a valid short trade setup using the Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator to spot the trend, in combination with the Stochastic oscillator to enter the market. The trade setups presented above reached their target and in total one could have earned +130 pips in profit.

It’s worth keeping in mind that the Forex Trend Power MT4 Indicator can’t be used as a trading system in and of itself and in order to make the best use out of it, it’s recommended to be utilized in combination with the Stochastic oscillator for better timing the market.

Time Frames
Technically speaking, you can use this indicator for all time frames. However, the shorter the time frame, you will see more fluctuation and possibly more whipsaw which may cause small losses that can eat up your portfolio quickly. We recommend that you use higher time frames like the 4H for better consistency.
